Students are exposed each day to a variety of activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Activities to achieve these developmental goals pertain to the following areas: religion, communication, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, health and safety, music, art and physical exploration. In the preschool classes, the Creative Curriculum is used as a tool to achieve these goals. All classes have religion curriculum that is incorporated throughout the year. We are also implementing the Generations of Faith program into our curriculum.
The small classes are structured so that each child achieves success daily. In all activities, a child’s creativity and individuality will be encouraged. Part of each day is spent in small and large group activities along with individual learning opportunities. Special time is set aside each day for prayers, and Catholic Christian values are emphasized throughout the day.
